I bought bajaj discover 125cc selfstart on may 2012,after 2nd free service i am facing cold start problem. suppose if i am taking out bike after 2 to 3 days,It will start for 1 min or 30 secs if you try to accelerate the engine will stop . after that It takes atleast 40 to 50 kicks (some times more than that..) to start or approx half an hour. During third free service i informed to the dealer ,but no solution. It will start there in service shop as it is serviced but after keeping it idle for 3 days again i faced the same cold start issue. During first paid service also i have informed but no fix given.so i stopped to give the vehicle for servicing as there is no result. I showed in private bike service shop, there he simply adjusted idle screw of the carburettor,by the time i have spent almost 45 minutes by kicking and self starting. I dont think so that is the fix.Because i am getting same cold start problem till now also. Please help..

it would be impossible to fit the bike would have to be rewired the engine would have to be replaced it would be more than the bike is worth you would be better off selling the bike and buying a electric start model
SOURCE: I bought Pulsar 220F before
the problem must be with the carb, but do have a checkup on the self start relay
