Question about 1995 Suzuki VS 800 Intruder
The bike is a 800 intruder and it looses amps as read by a volt meter. This happens as the rpms get high. Recently replaced the stater. This tested bad using a repair manuals volt meter test. The problems still occurs. As you ride at high way speed it back fires spit and spudder and die briefly before leveling off at lower rpm. Sounds like a short some place in the system. Thanks!!! Kinda the same problem, stalls out here and there while idling, once on the road bike stalls, tire locks up, skids to a hault, battery dead... killed a brand new battery the first run...
I would be looking at the voltage regulator,if the regulator is faulty the alternator will not be replacing the voltage that the bike needs to keep running
