You sound like you know what you are doing. So far so good. By what you have determined, I would agree, or it is the wiring, or a current limiting device such as a fuse or link. I will see if I can find out where the relay is. In the mean time, a VOM will determine where the voltage is and is not. Typically, all the wires are color coded for tracing. See if you have 12volts to ground on both sides of the start switch, with the button pushed. See if you have 12 volts at the NSS and Stand Switch and find out what section of wire is failing if it is wiring. Eventually check each point down to the starter. The relay is $10 on ebay and has a 20Amp fuse built in. Check that. Looks like a soft rubber housing encapsulates it.
Start the engine, depress the brake pedal, press the oval push button attached to the upper side of the gear lever stick and shift the lever to R, N, or D. It should work. If not check the following:
- Push button mechanism and the solenoid for malfunction.
- Brake switch assembly.
- Wiring harness.
You can also release the gear lever by pressing the small red button located on the base of gear lever stick. Simultaneously press the small red button and the push button of the gear lever stick to get it out from P.
1) tight all connector wires and clean 2) tight the ribbon cables from keypads. 3) Run the software calibration for diagnose, and troubleshooting, and fix it. 4) lube the shaft and gear in the elevation motor, 5) adjust the potentiometer for better running see the diagram. God bless you
test the switch. see the diagram below. God bless you if the switch is o.k 2) test for continuity the wires 3) Test the motor input voltage motor. 4) Test the power cord for break or loose wires with VOM
Automatic transmission ? Try moving the gear selector to neutral . park neutral safety switch ,maybe. If placing gear selector in neutral doesn't do anything , looking at a wiring diagram to see what all is involved in the starting system . Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? Free diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on starting . Click the search button then the blue link .Do you know what a relay starter is , what a totally integrated power module is ? The starter control is controlled by a control module (computer )
Hi, You need to check to see it you have power coming out of the timer? There should be a wiring diagram inside the control panel. Door switch should be checked with the timer set to run and start switch pressed down to start. Check for power at the motor see wiring diagram for which terminals. If you give me the model # so I can look it up I can try to walk you through it.
hi thanks for the question i would check the thermal fuse at the back remove back panel . by the air duct theres a small thermal fuse with 2 smaller blue wires to it check that it does cause this thanks appliance doc
