Throttle wire is broken and needs to be changed.
Simple job for any good mechanic.

Search in yellow/white pages or nearby) for a reasonable mechanic who can do the job in your budget.

Sccoter's batteries are two years old, fully charged but when the scooter goes forward or backward, it makes a clicking noise and just stops for no reason.

Charge the scooter and test the volts cheap volt meter. When you hear the clicking retest. If the voltage is way down the battery is bad. If voltage is ok then and electrical component like a relay needs to be replaced. Any small electronic shop can repair it. Also, Google the model and clicking behavior to see if a turn key fix exists.

My electric scooter hesitates, then goes, hesitates, then goes without letting up on the throttle

Going and Slowing is usually a problem with the throttle pot. They are often easy to fix yourself with a bit of WD40 once you have found out where the throttle pot is on your machine. Sometimes they have to be replaced, but fortunately the part is quite cheap. You didn't say what brand your scooter is, but Pride scooters are known for throttle pot problems.

When i go and start my scooter, the rpm`s rev all the way up,but stays in one spot, without even using the throttle down.

A bad/stuck throttle cable. Best to replace it, but you need to know what exactly the problem is.
A friendly bike shop should be able to tell whether the trouble is in the cable, the hand control, or at the engine.
They may even have a reasonably-priced cable that will fit, as the cables are almost identical between some bikes and some scooters.

Need to find out how to fix the throttle! I push the throttle in but it won't swing back into place! My 10yr old is putting the motor into a scooter!

To make a throttle cable or any cable you have to have both ends fixed to the same bar. IT cutter shaft mount bar mower handles etc otherwise the inner won't move as when you push the throttle the outer moves and not the inner.. By you video you need to fix this first.

Wigwag fault code flashing on scooter..waht cause this problem and is it easily fixed?

The throttle potentiometer error code is caused by a damaged or worn potentiometer. The fix for this problem is to replace the throttle potentiometer. The part is available from Pride based on the model and serial number. Hope this helps.

I have a code of 3 blinks and the 1 on my scooter. when I was using it it was almost like the throttle cable came loose or broke. How do you go about opening the front up to check this out?

Hello, .If its feeling really sloppy and you scooter is not moving and all your getting is beeping or blinking lights yes,you are looking at lost or loss set screw .This also could be a broken throttle pot as well too.

Check under your tiller where your throttle is there is a little pin hole ,This pin hole is right in the middle of your your throttle arm, this set screw that hopefully is still in your throttle arm require a allen head/ allen key small .make sure its still there if not you may have to go radio shack ,or hardware store to find one that small .but if it is the and is really lose make sure that throttle arm is lined up ,use that allen key to tighten it up.
That should fix that.

Now if the set screw is still there and its tight but the throttle arm is still sloppy ,you most likely have a broken throttle pot .Now the Part your looking for is throttle pot ,there should be two Philips head screws holding it down.

Good luck when let us know how it go's ,Hope i was of some help.

Small bar on tiller to make it go forward and reverse broken so no way to control start and stop. Also, free wheel is broken and scooter moves when in stop mode or key is removed. can I still use it,...

Hi. Are there other faults as well? Maybe you should get another quote from a different technician, or ask him if he has any second hand parts available.
If you use it, and you cant control it, you end up down a bank or under a bus.
What brand and model is it?
Sometimes the brake disc in the brake unit splits and allows the machine roll on. Sometimes the brake lever has had a bump, and just needs to be pushed back into place properly.
Try contacting the authorised service people for this scooter, and get some prices from them. Good luck. Neil.

Belt on scooter keeps breakin

Most adults have excellent records of never breaking a belt. Here is the reason why many kids break their belts,--- If you hop a curve, you must let go of the throttle. DO NOT have the throttle on wide open (full open) and hop a curve. If you do when the rear wheel comes off the ground, the rear wheel spins faster. When the scooter lands and the rear wheel hits the ground, you stop the tire from spinning, it will snap the belt. If you do hop a curve, let go of the throttle. When you land give it a little throttle. As you pick up speed then give it full throttle.
