Too much shaking of my eyes/ helmet at high speed

I have a HD street glide that when I ride it makes my eyes shake and a lot and gets blurry. Im thinking of maybe getting a new helmet or two new tires -since I need a rear anyway. I had chrome front forks and floating rotors put on lately. Arent there baffles or something that goes under the fairing that is suppose to deflect the air?

Get yourself a Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki. This will take care of the Harley shake, that is what Harleys do.

It is not coming from the bike shaking, it is coming from the wind coming from under your fairing. Get some adjustable air deflecters.

Safety Tips for On-Street Bicycling.Ride predictably, act like a good driver. Drivers are used to the patterns of other drivers. Ride in a straight line, obey traffic signs and signals, and do not weave in and out of traffic. Riding predictably reduces your chances of a crash with a motor vehicle.
Look, signal and look again before changing lanes or making a turn. Establish eye contact with drivers. Seeing a driver is often not enough. Make sure drivers see you before executing a turn or riding in front of a turning car.
Watch out for opening car doors. Be prepared for the possibility that a car door may be opened in your path. When possible, leave room between yourself and parked cars (3 feet is generally recommended) so that you can avoid a door that opens unexpectedly.
Stay visible. Wear brightly colored clothing for daytime riding. At night, use reflective materials and lights.
Use Your bell. Your bell alerts drivers, pedestrians and other cyclists to your presence, it is required by law.
Wear a helmet. Required by law for children age 13 or younger and working cyclists, helmets are a good idea for cyclists of all ages. While supplies last, the official New York City bicycle helmet will be fitted and distributed free of charge at DOT Safety City locations. Call 311 to schedule a fitting. In order to receive a helmet you must: be present to get a helmet; learn how to properly fit and wear a helmet before you receive it; have a parent or legal guardian present to sign a waiver for children under age 18; for adults over age 18 receiving a helmet you must sign a waiver.

Blurry picture if zoom is used

Camera shake? When you zoom and make things bigger, you also make movements bigger. So a relatively small movement could manifest as camera shake. Make sure your shutter speed is high enough.

High speed shake 100 mph+ Why?

The Dyna Wide Glide was not made to be running at speeds of over a 100 mph. It's upright stance and seating position are not conducive for aerodynamics. That's why the 200 mph Japanese bikes are built like they are, they're more aerodynamic. I've been riding Harleys since 1966 and the only bike they make that MIGHT be anywhere near suitable for that speed is the Sportster. The rest of them are called "cruisers" for a reason. Now, the V-Rod sounds like a Harley that you might be interested in if you a bike that is fast and handles good at those speeds. Not trying to be smart or anything, just telling the facts. Apehangers and high speeds are two things that don't exactly complement each other. If you want to go fast, you need a bike that is designed to go fast. It's much safer that way.

Shake from left to right at high speeds.

Check for steering head bearing problems. But most likely you have a cruiser that is not supposed to be driven at high speeds and this is normal. Sport bikes use a steering dampner to solve that problem.

I am getting turbulants off my wind screen that vibrate my helmet. could my front wheel be out of balance?

Definitely get your front tire checked. Your vibration could be that your tie just needs a high speed balance job or, and possibly a lot worse your steel belts inside the tire could have gone bad and could result in sudden tire failure.

Something out-of-balance somewhere. Start with the tires, check the wheels, then have the driveshaft balance checked. Do any off-roading?
