Oil coming out of the sander indicates that too much oil is flowing into the the supply air. The rule of thumb for oiling an air motor is 1 drop of light machine oil per minute, per 10 cfm of air.

Why is my 2007 envoy denali oil pressure dropping?

check oil level in sump. You may have to remove the sump to check for cracked oil pick up line . Check oil pump pressure regulator . replace oil filter as it may be blocked and dropping the oil straight back to the sump.

Both Gauges stay at same pressure when trying to adjust outlet pressure to tools

it seems like you might be adjusting a valve before the regulator. the outlet pressure from the compressor vessel should remain celatively constant. if you are adjusting the pressure whilst using the airtool and when you stop the regulator gauges return to/or close to/ the 150 PSI then this also points to you not adjusting the regulator.
Some compressors have 2 outlets... one regulated and the other not.

Pressure in tanks is fine, but when i go to inflate a tire for example I get a burst of pressure and the regulating indicator drops to zero with just a trickle of air, no volume or pressure....

Over time water and debris will enter the regulator and cause problems. Easy to fix however. Drain air from tank and turn pressure control knob out to relieve pressure on the internal spring. Open the regulator and clean and lube the internal parts (use silicone paste lube on rubber parts). Some regulators have a small nut on the rear that should be remove to clean small piston. If parts are rusted beyond usefulness, replace with generic regulator that will fit into space. Good luck

When engine gets warm, oil pressure drops to zero

Are you sure pressure is dropping or is it a bad sending unit? the pressure is regulated by the oil pump and heat should not effect. Check the sending unit for proper operation

I have an old craftsman belt sander that needs oil because the engine has started smoking. I bought the right oil, but can't figure out where to put it in. Help?

Many belt sanders have sealed bearings that are packed with grease at the factory. They require no further lubrication. Sleeve bearings should be lubricated with 30 weight oil or an equivalent after each 10 hours of use.

Only about 2 to 3 drops of oil should be applied to each sleeve bearing. Avoid using too much oil. It can get on the work piece or on the belt and the belt will slip.

what oil regulators?? only change the oil filter and oil ,their is no regulator only a pressure relief valve but thats in the oil pump ,if the injector failed ,and allowed neat fuel into the piston then this would cause the piston to seize because it wash all the oil off the cylinder bore .then seize up time

No air pressure at the hose

It sounds like you have trouble with your pressure regulator. Make sure that the knob for the regulator is turned clockwise to increase pressure. If this doesn't work, you may need to replace the regulator.
