Your bike is a 2000 model year. The 10th digit is the year designation.

Thank you for contacting FixYa with your inquiry.
They are one and the same. Take a look at the fiche for your bike year and model number on the following link and you can see the inter-relation of all the engine and frame parts. 450Sx/Engine/Engine Case

I recently bought a rm 250 and was told it was a 2002 model. But I can't find a plate on the frame with vin and all that info to clarify that all I managed to get was the number Off the frame which is...

I have looked on several vin number websites and this number is not recognised.
I would suggest you ask at a suzuki dealer to make sure it is a valid number.

I Want To No The Year Model And If It Is UK Or American

Yamaha dealers have a micro fiche that they can use to look up your year and model. First check that your engine and frame numbers match. If they do not , some one has changed the motor. A typical early Yamaha # is 3J1-02536049. In this case the "3J1-02" is what identifies the year and model. Have this ready when you call the dealer or find an ID fiche on line to find out what you have. on Newer models the VIN may begin with "j" But the same 5 digit code is mixed into the first part of the VIN number.Example JHA01"3J1-02"536049

We are trying to figure out what year and model we have this is the serial # jy43ghao7k0001312

The easiest way is to call a dealer with the frame number (VIN number). They can look it up and tell you what you have.

Could you tell me the year in which my kawasaki kx 250 2 stroke was made the engine number is KX250K-E025833. thank you

The engine number will tell you what country the engine was made , what series the engine is and the production number. The frame number VIN is what will tell you the needed info. Call a dealer and give them the frame number and they should be able to tell you what you have.

Year? Parts?

The frame number (VIN #) is what will tell you the information needed. Call a dealer with the VIN number ant they can tell you exactly what you have got. Chances are the dealer can tell you. The Timberwolf came in 2x4 and 4x4 models. You can look up the part numbers for both and see if the casings have the same part numbers. If so, you should be able to do a swap out. Check out the part numbers on the frames.

Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part, the part is not in stock.

Find the model production year, usually found on the same plate as the vin. Then add one year. For instance if the bike was produced in 2001, then its a 2002 model.
