Is that 2 cycle? (Mix oil & gas). If so, expect smoking.

Usual smoke is caused by oil overflow. you may want to drain this one out, check your O-rings and rubber seals, im 99% sure that is the culprit.

regards.

Unless the smoke is more black, which would be an indication of a rich carb setting.

Trimmer is producing alot of white/blue smoke, got it to start and it will keep running, but the smoke seems excessive when using it. Not sure what the problem is.

This engine does NOT used mixed gas at all! It uses straight unleaded gas. If your using mixed fuel of any mixture ratio in the engine it is really going to smoke badly. What fuel are you using please?

White smoke but engin was done over and new exqust

Is there alot of smoke or does it go away after the car warms up? If it is alot of smoke that does not stop then have the mechanic check for coolant leaks into the engine. Usually caused by a blown head gasket. If it goes away after awhile then you have a rich fuel mixture and will have to have the emmision system checked but could be normal.
