Idling issues We have a 1999 Ford Escort and it will not idle. Can you tell me how to fix that? And it's either a Ztech or spi, can you help m figure out how to tell which one it is? Thanks

The first thing u need to do is run a key on engine on self self test to see if the problem is with the idle speed control motor. any shop with a good scanner can preform this test, let me know the code they get.

My 1999 ford escort air conditioner quits working after driving for a while. It works fine when I first start up in any cooling mode. However, after sitting in traffic or parked and idling it quits cooling...

the cooling fan that comes on when the AC is turned on isnt working

This could be caused by several things. Bad MAF sensor, TPS could be defective. You need to have the vehicle scanned for codes. You can have this done for no charge at AutoZone.
