Hi!

Sometime things like that happens
Since it almost start but the battery dont last enough to go all the way i sugest you you connect a car battery with cables to your battery. The car battery is stronger and last longer, that will start your bike. You can do it for a couple of minist but i dont rekomend you to do it longer, Since the carbattery is stronger it can cause damages on you startengine if you have it connected to long. But when your bike starts you wont need the carbattery anymore, revome the cables immidiately.

Good luck
Nic

07 electra glide wont start warm. cranks fine and smells flooded. cool it off and starts fine

Hi Keenan, when checking for spark the CKP needs to measure the compression bump in order to send the correct signal to the ICM/ECM so always check for spark with either a third plug grounded or lift the end of the plug boot 1/2 " off one of spark plugs that are in the head. and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty
2. Fuel supply valve turned off.
3. Fouled spark plugs.
4. Engine flooded with gasoline as a result of over use of enrichner.
5. Fuel valve or filter clogged.

I charged my batterie because it was dead from winter storage and as soon as it was charged and put back on I have had nothing but troubles with my alarm system going off even when driving, what is the...

I would have the battery tested to see if it has a dead cell first . Some times this will happed especasly if its over 4 or 5 years old and if it was left on a cement floor during storage witch will conduct electricty and damage the battery If the cells are OK in the battery then start checking the connections to the battery bolth posivite and negitive to the battery . If it worked before storage there is realy no reason it shouldn't work after storage . Also look for mice damage the little bastards will eat anything in the winter including the jackets off your wires so look for signs of then Good luck with it

Engine wont turn over at start

Hi, Do you have an alarm & Immobiliser fitted on your bike as these drain the battery on your bike very quickly? If so i would recommend removing your battery and fully charging it with a decent amp-age charger. If you have your garage attached to your house then i would definitely recommend purchasing a trickle charger and when not using your bike keep this plugged into the mains and you should not have this problem again. all motorbike shops sell these chargers If after this the battery goes flat again i would suggest purchasing a new battery. This is a common fault as most motorbikes sit in the garage through the winter months and if not kept on charge will deteriorate. Hope this helps.

Hi, it depends on the age of the battery. if it's new no ploblem depending on the age you may have to give it a trickle charge in jan.

If this doesn’t work for you please write back. Thanks,
