My 125cc mojioto seems to be holding back when i take of its also make a grinding sound when im going slowly , I thought it had something to to the the petrol i have only been putting premium unleaded from caltex in ,when i change to bp it seemed to stop for a little and the power of the bike seemed to increase , it is now do the same thing as befor it is only 6 month old ,I was told maybe the carbarator needs to be cleaned ok can any one help me wiht this problem? My 6 month old Mojito 125 seems to have lost it's mojo. After getting a soaking on Tuesday, I noticed a lack of power particularly when pulling away. On my way home last night, the cyclists were getting away from the traffic lights before me and when I had an uphill start the acceleration was terrible. I noticed the engine sounds a little muffled too. No problem at higher speeds though. Any advice would be warmly received.
Hi, Simonbodle nice novella and the usual suspects are:

7. Plugged bowl vent or overflow.
8. Fuel level in bowl too low.
9. Restricted fuel supply passages.
10. Plugged jets or passages.
11. Worn or damaged needle or needle jet.
12. The enrichner valve not seated or leaking.

If you are experiencing grinding noises and a power loss, I would look more to the power train and related components. Transmission, wheel bearing, brakes hanging.
With the engine off, I would push the bike slowly to determine if you are able to detect a grinding noise and if there is any resistence when pushing it.
