2000 model 500 suzuki quadmaster backfires, wont rev up.

unusual, would normally say air filter but thats new. theres no restriction on fuel is there from fuel tap. so it runs out and slowly fills, time you check its got fuel again. is there a breather into tank blockedi has it once on a bike that used exhaust paste. the person had put too much in and it blocked the exhaust.

My triumph tt600 2002 has developed a cough and splutter when idle and low revs! It did back fire and cut out when slowing to stop. I have taken baffles out and been running like this for a year. Just had...

I would start with new plugs and cleaning the air filter. Also, if the bike has carburetors, I would drain the carbs. Condensation from the gas tank may have gotten into the carb float bowls.

I have a 2001 Warrior quad 350. I lost the baffle

First.. check the compression..>120PSI...
Why did you replace the carb..???? that was unnecessary.. carburetors don't "just go bad"..
Stop playing mechanic.. take this ATV to a QUALIFIED professional!!

2002 Kawasaki ZR-7S. wont rev up.

Check you main jets ccccccthey could need a good wiring through with needle wire cleaners or try running it without any air cleaner unit .If it runs well then could be an air filter problem.

Yamaha warrior atv [yfm 350] bogging problem

Try checking the switch for your parking brake. It is the top wire in the clutch handle boot. This wire connects to your CDI box, and restricts the RPM's while the parking brake is engauged. To find out for sure, trace the wire down to the plug under the headlight assembly and disconnect it. Now try starting you machine and give it some throttle!

Engine kiking and bucking and backfireing

The carborator is dirty, & needs to be cleaned. The low speed jet is plugged, make it pop and backfire. Also clean the air filter, and install a new spark plug.
