SOURCE: 92 honda cb 750, oil light will not go out, bike won't start

Look around the engine oil drain plug and fill area and see if there is an electric sending unit( small plug with a prong for a wire) that is screwed into the engine if so check to see if its unplugged / could be a low oil cut off switch that kills all power to the ignition if the oil is to low ( or the wire is unplugged)

SOURCE: 1995 Honda Nighthawk 750 Neutral Light Problem

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Your decribed problem could either be a neutral switch about to fail (least likely) or a loose grounding issue (most likely).  This switch must read 0 ohms to ground when in neutral and infinity (no reading) when in any gear.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

SOURCE: 93 Honda Nighthawk 750, when I pull in the clutch

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Check / replace the diode that connects the clutch switch and neutral switch. The diode normally would have green/red and light green/red wires.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

92 Cb250 Nighthawk won't start

Check the side stand kill switch. It kills the engine so that you don’t start out with the side stand down. If broken or out of adjustment, it would kill the spark. Check for a broken wire at the side stand switch and coupler. Try moving the kill switch by hand. If that doesn’t work then wire a jumper around the switch to bypass it. Check the fuses. Is the handlebar kill switch on? Check the operation of the ignition switch and all kill switches with a volt ohmmeter.
