Oh, I also try to turn off my pc and turn it on again... it still the same... it won't start unless i press the restart button... however if the PC and OS already started, when i try to restart it... it works fine.only if i turn it off and turn it on again... this problem happen...

Step 1: Restart your computer During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or F2 key this will vary depending on your computer and operating system Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart
several things come to mind. If you are positive the6850 is good then my first guess would be your power supply. the specs for this card says it needs a500 watt or greater p.s. if the p.s. is good then check your Pci slot to verify it is a pcix 16, nd lastly this card also requires 1 gig system memory. try this and let me k now if it doesn't work

Please make sure that all memory modules inside of the comouter are seated tightly.
If everything inside the computer seems intact and the computer still reboots try to go to safe mode and check if will do the same.
From shutdown, turn your computer on and start tapping the F8 key (F5 for some computers) when the menu appears choose either safe mode or safe mode with networking. check if the computer would still restart in that mode.
If it doesn't: press and hold the windows key on your keyboard then press the letter R, when the Run box comes up type in msconfig go to the services tab, tick Hide all Microsoft services and the click Disable All. Go back up to the tabs and click start up click Disable all then restart the computer.
If it still restarts in normal mode check if it's giving out a Blue Screen error.
If it still restarts in safe mode, shut the computer down and go to the BIOS.
From shutdown turn the computer on and start tapping F2 or Delete Key on your keyboard if both doesn't work check what key does your computer say to go to setup.
See wether if it will restart in the BIOS.
If it does, You may want to have the hardware parts of your computer checked.
If it doesn't my recommendation would be to reinstall yout operating system.
Mr. Randee, you need a bootable disc or should i say cd installer like windows xp professional. Turn on your computer and tap DEL key or F2 key, it will enter you to cmos/bios setup. When already in cmos/bios look for the bios features setup using arrow keys and when highlighted it press enter. Then look for the boot sequence and make the cd or dvdrom drive first boot by pressing - or + or pageup or pagedown to modify. When you already changed the boot sequence press F10 key to save the settings then press Y. While restarting insert the Microsoft CD installer and when ask you for press any key, press any key to boot or start booting from cd or dvdrom drive. Let the cd installer run and when the computer ask for enter, repair or skip press R for repair. Then it will load to repair setup, type 1 for c:\windows and press enter. Type fixboot and enter and press Y for yes after that type fixmbr and enter and press Y for yes then type exit. After that wait to restart your computer and eject the cd installer and the computer will automatically load to windows. Have a good day!
