Hi, John_robe415 sounds like a wiring issue to me the first thing I would do is invest a little Drachma in a connector cable that goes from the ECM to your laptop under $12 or 10 quid that covers your make, model, year and retrieve any error codes that have been generated by your ECM for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Triumph, despair not, for a mere zero $ you can download another one. Currently own a triumph speed four 06 tornado red was involved in a minor accident. cut up but car nd had to ditch me and the bike in a mounted ditch. bike went upside down and landed in a hedge nearby....

Hi, Whwarrenhugh Triumph's are pretty tough and just because it landed upside down is no reason to pull the top end. Try bleeding the cooling system of air that traveled to places it was not welcomed while the bike was on it's back, then retrieve the generated fault code and go from there.

Check the connections on the ignition system maybe they got loose also check the fuse box to see that all the fuses are in place. Looks like it's only a loose contact you have there, it's no daunting task to fix it. ;-)
