The gear changing problem is going to be a bent shift fork. Is it stuck in 1st gear, 2nd gear? Those are the most common. As far as the engine quitting, I don't yet have enough information to give a suggestion on why it is happening. It could be a bad kill switch, plugged fuel filter or vent, water in the gas, carb needs cleaning or . . . A bunch of possible causes. Which one depends on how the bike has been acting lately.

125cc Kawasaki dirt bike, cranks on first kick, idles but won't run in any gear, doesn't die out but doesn't seem to engage gear, possible problems?

Does it jerk forward when you put it into gear and die? Or you put it into gear and the bike doesn't move when you let the clutch out? Badly adjusted clutch in both cases. Worst case, you need new clutch plates and springs.

My 2002 saturn vue won't go into gear

Sir ,
Kindly tell us whether your engine starts up properly to idle . If yes , then your problem is with the transmission system or with the clutch plates . If the clutch plates are too empty , the gear would be almost stuck . If the car is in N-neutral , try pushing it and while moving slightly try to change the gear . Engine oil and transmission oil should be checked up regularly .
At present situation you will have to have your gear system unjammed or opened up by a professional and have your gear box replaced or checked for jammed gears which is pretty time consuming and difficult job . Else you will have to replace the clutch plates and youre ready to fly again .
Thanking you , Dixon Dominic

2001 cr125 stored for 2 years with no problems when stored. Changed out the fuel, gear oil, and cleaned carb recently. got bike to fire up no problem, but now fuel is blowing out my exhaust. what could it...

Replace the needle and seat in the float chamber. You can try cleaning the carb again this time using lacquer thinners, the only stuff that really cleans the gum that gas turns into when left standing, but consider a new carb kit.

The transmission (gear case) oil. I used Bel-Ray Gear Lube. Also change the fork oil to Bel-Ray or similar. Big Improvement!

Cr125 99 my clutch keeps sticking when i change gear

Your clutch is not disingaging all the way so if you can't adjust it far enough at one end or the other than you could have a worn clutch push rod. First adjust it at the lever. Hopefully you'll be good to go.

I have a rav4 that won?t go into gear once the engine is started. If the engine is off it will go into gear. So every time I have to stop I must turn off my car put it in first and then start it again....

Change the gear oil. If the gear oil is leaking get it fixed as soon as possible. If all the oil has leaked then it may have severely damaged the gear box.

How much oil in the gear box of a 2002 cr125 (also % on gas mix

IF you are no riding bike on the trak an not clutching it much i would use a mix ov 40-1[120ml-5L] if on trck an making engine work hard then use 32-1. OIL-if you look to the left of the oil inlet benerth the water pump there is a nut undo it and when the oil stops flowing out then thats what u need in so try and judge it.
