Hello ccollins219...Could you provide a little more information please. The rear of the engine near rear tire makes it hard to troubleshoot. Is the leak engine oil or hydraulic...Is coming from a hose or metal tube?... To better determine where the leak is, do this...wash the bike. Then get a can of deoderant that contains baby powder and spray the suspected area...go for a short ride. Where there is an oil leak the powder will turn black. (thats an old school trick)
Let me know what you find...I will help fixya.

I had the same problem - thought it was leaky berake banjo. Harley shop said it was the oil drain line cracking and leaking. I've ordered the part, butI'd like to know what I'm getting into before I tackle it myself. Guess I'll check it out in the a.m. and see what fitting holds it to the oil tank.

Sounds like your hose for draining the engine oil to me, there is a plug in the hose with a screw-ring that should be tight round the hose before it slips into a spring clamp on the bottom of the frame just behind the gearbox on your bike, hence just in front of the rear wheel. I suggest you have a look there to start with anyway

When was the last time the fork oil was changed? Has there been any leaks? Loss of oil will cause the forks to go soft.
