Question about 1986 Honda VT 250 F
I'm loosing the spark when the engine gets hot. I have checked most on the electrical system (I'm a electrician by trade). Coil looses its supply.
I have swapped the two ignition units over and they are identical, it still the front cylinder not running.
I presume it must be the pick up in the engine for the front cylinder?
An Idea how to test?
What the wiring colours are for the front cylinder.
Very annoying as its a trike and the engine is very hard to get to.
It sounds like a bad coil. they will have good spark when cold, but a coil going bad will break down once it has warmed up.
