Check on the sidewall, should be like 42 psi max. have local tire store fill them up and ask what pressure they put. it will probably be manufacturers suggested pressure.

Hello there, what should the tyre pressure be for a Honda CBR 400?!?!

Look at the sidewall of both tires. There will be a 'MAX PSI' embossed on the tire. It will probably say Max 45 PSI. At 45psi the bike will ride like a rock. At 15psi it will ride really squirrely. Find a psi at which you feel the bike handles well and rides well. One rider may weigh 125 pounds and the next rider may weigh 300 pounds. The best psi for each rider will be different due to weight. Chances are that 30 to 35 psi will do the trick. Please rate my answer.

2000 Hornet 250: what is the ideal tyre pressure in hornet 250...

NEVER the same pressure on both tyres !!
Usually, rear tyre is larger and/or carries more weight (you), therefore needs a much higher PSI. On a Hornet 250, 600 or 900cc it should be 36psi FRONT and 42psi REAR. - check the manuals.

Diferent size tyres front and back is this normal?

That is normal, most motorcycles run different size front and rear tyres. My BMW has a 21" in the front and a 17" in the rear. The tyre you buy should match your riding style. Don't get a race tyre if all you do is communting, the tyre will wear out too quickly. Expect to pay $150 or so for a rear tyre, perhaps a little less for the front. Mounting & balancing is normally $20-$50 per tyre. Many shops will not mount a tyre you bought somewhere else, keep that in mind if you order tyres from the internet.

any honda certified oil will do, but since its an older bike you gotta pay attention cause 2nd gears in older bikes tend to go out more often.

Fuel pump pressure

In my experiences over the years pressure testing the carbs and messing with the fuel pump, I have never actually tested the pump output. Knowing that the average pop off pressure of the float valve on the float is 10-13 psi, this being tested via hand held pressure gauge to ensure no leaks before installation on the bike. I assume that the fuel pressure coming from the pump should not exceed the pop off pressure or it could cause the carbs to leak though and the bike would run rich. Hope this helps out.
