Won't idle especially when hot.

My New 2009 Suzuki DR-Z 250 won't idle. I have tried adjusting the idle screw & still wont idle. Is the idle jet blocked? Thanks Matt

Not real sure but you may be sucking air from a hose or loose manifold

13200-05g01 carburetor. Where is the idle adjustment?

I answered this yesterday. It is shown on the top of the diagram. 4th image ion the Amazon advert, small brass screw. Make sure you have got the cable adjuster too tight as that will cause a high idle.

Won,t idle dies out when you stop

this sounds like a carby problem as it maybe the float sticking and over fueling ,have you noticed any fuel leeks ,this could just be a cable adjustment or idle speed adjustment ,it could be a blocked low speed jet in your carby ,try a few simple adjustments first if not it may be a job for your motorcycle dealer as they have the testing equipment ,hope this helps cheers pete

It won't idle, having it on choke makes it shut off, sounds like it's running too rich.

Clean the caburator especially the idling speed jet. adjust the air valve as needed.
