What type of oil does my 2002 yamaha ttr 125 take

10w-40 should work just fine. I prefer a full synthetic, like Amsoil or Bel Ray. Avoid "energy conserving" oils. They contain additives the clutch won't tolerate. API rating SL/CF,SJ,SH,SG are all acceptable. Happy biking!

Yz 125 2001 stays in gear when clutch pulled in

Lose the Honda transmission oil. It may have swollen the cork on the friction plates. Go with 10w40 in the gearbox. Any major brand; Mobil, Shell, Quaker State, Pennzoil, etc.. Try the new oil and give the cork a week to shrink back down > if they will. You may need to put in a new set of plates.

'95 Yamaha YZ 125 clutch - stays in gear when clutch is pulled in

the plates will stick to each other because of oil
check the clutch lever at the motor and make sure it is moving the arm that pushes the pressure plate and make sure it is moving
