You need to remove the starter and bench test it. Once you get the starter off you can hook the ground of a jumper cable to the starter and then touch the positive to the postitve post and you may need to jump to the solenoid

Yep, its a common problem. The pinion gear on the starter is sticking and will need to be removed, cleaned and tested. If it is worn out then have it replaced.
Hi, Your valve clearances should be: Intake .08-.12 mm (.003-.005 in) Exhaust .12-.16 mm (.005-.006 in) I usually start all gaps in the middle of given specs, then fine tune from there. Hope this helps
