I will help if I can, but electrics are not my main service. Check the fuses. Next, check for spark. Is the kill switch on? Does the side stand have a kill switch? Is it working properly? Check the operation of the ignition switch and all kill switches with a volt ohmmeter. You should be getting power into and out of the ignition switch.

Check the wiring harness. Did a wire come unplugged? Are all wires clean and with solid connections? Any abraded or pinched wires? Is the bike in neutral and the neutral light is lit up? Check the neutral switch and neutral switch wire on the center casing. If still no spark, get CDI system and coils checked at the dealers shop.

Go to the following site for a free PDF service manual download.
http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp Most of the manuals are in English but some are not. There is no way to be sure without doing the download. You can always delete it if in a foreign language. You should find a wiring diagram and a troubleshooting section in the manual.

Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part, the part is not in stock.

Sounds like the clutch switch diode could be giving you trouble. it is under the seat, behind the battery. it is taped up in black tape in the witing harness behind the battery. it is about .5" X .5" square, and has 3 pins on it. If you havn't got the manual for it yet, send me an email and I'll send you a .pdf copy.

1995 Honda Magna 750 Headlight is flickering on and off. Any solutions?

Hi, Greg love that first name, if your headlight is not working, only one beam works, keeps burning out, blinking, dim or surges from bright to dim to bright the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, then check your head light bulb socket ground wire for a clean tight connection, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn down solder contacts or loose fit of the bulb base in the socket due to vibration.
3. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
4. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
5. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
8. Faulty headlight relay.
9. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
10. Weak charging alternator/generator/lighting coil.
11. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier ground or overcharging.
