The most important thing is to read your spark plug. As long as the insulator surrounding the electrode is completely golden brown then you are doing things right. The plug will tell you how the engine is running at different RPMS. Closest to the insulator is at idle and the further you look down the insulator, the higher the RPM. When you raise or lower the needle you change the fuel mixture and if the plug is black then you are feeding too much fuel in. If the plug is white or grey then you are too lean and on the verg of melting engine parts. Any modification is OK as long as you have the proper air fuel mixture and have the proper back pressure. It only takes a few seconds at full throttle to melt your engine so do research before doing any modification.

a. Both bulbs are replaced the same way. Remove the rubber cap, thesecaps are soft and pliable but when you grab the edges to pull them off, they feel rigid. This is because the rubber cap is pressed over a hardplastic flange so when you squeeze and pull, it can be difficult toremove. If you can't get a good grip to pull them off -

It's a little difficult to get to and you may need a flathead screwdriver to pry it up. Pull up on these clips and they willrelease the housing, but you cannot remove it. This will allow you topull the housing out a few inches and you can see the edges of therubber caps.
c. Using a flat head screwdriver, just gently pry the cap, once itstarts coming off you can remove it with your hand. Reach in and grabthe bulb assembly and turn it about ¼ corner turn "counter" clockwiseand it will come out.
d. Remove the power wire harness that is clipped on.
e. Snap the new bulb into the power wire harness (DO NOT TOUCH) the new bulb with your bare hand!
f. Gently place it the bulb assembly back in the housing, turn ¼ turnclockwise, it will snap into place, replace the rubber cap, push thehousing back into place and press the housing clips back down.
g. NOTE: Always put the rubber cap back on, it helps to keep moisture out of the housing.

2. Passenger Side. This is the hardest to get to. Remove the aircleaner cover and filter or you won't be able to reach the back side ofthe housing. The instruction on how to remove these items should be inyour owners manual.

How do you change the headlight bulb on a 2005 Chevy?

You DO NOT need to remove the grille. That is a lot of effort and you can easily break the mounting clips or the assemblies they clip to. Here it is step by step with a few warnings and tips. Replacement time - 5 minutes per bulb. It takes longer to read this than do the job, print it up.

(WARNING) when handling the new bulbs, DO NOT touch them with your bare hands. The oil from skin will create a hot spot on the bulb and cause it to burn out sooner than it is rated. I touched one that was on and smoke actually came off the bulb! Use either a cotton glove or I used a clean paper towel to handle the bulb. (tip) If only one low or high beam bulb is out, replace the low or high beam partner on the other side or you may be doing this again real soon.

How do i remove interior door panel & trim

Answer There is a small black plastic piece that surrounds your door handle. You MUST take that off, I find a small flat tip screw driver works best. The plastic cover that goes on the inside part of the door where your mirror is should be removed, makes it a lot easier to remove door trim: No screws on that part just grab from both sides and pull. 3 screws on bottom and 1 screw inside the armrest. The window crank, easiest way tried and true, shoestring, pull handle towards inside of car until you have enough room to fit the shoestring between crank and plastic washer. Give it a pull back and forth and it'll pop right off; clip should stick to shoestring as an added bonus.

Interior trim panel removal instruction

Normal 0 . Disconnect your negative battery cable. Locate and remove the screws that hold your interior door handles in place (they may be hidden by snap in, or snap on clips). Remove the interior door handles, then disconnect the wire clips to the switches. Your panel is held in place by snap in clips; use a small pry bar to pull them from the door (try to get as close to, or directly under the clips to prevent them from tearing out of the door panel). Once the clips are pulled, pull the panel upward to remove it from the door.
Install in reverse.

If you don't have power windows you will have to remove the manual window crank. It is held in place by a clip on the back side of the base. To remove the clip, you will need a small hook (kind of like a knitting needle). Put the hook in behind the base, and grab the clip and pull it off. To replace it, slide the clip back on the window crank, and snap it back on the door.

How to remove rear door panal for 03 cts

If you have power windows start by disconnecting your negative battery cable. Then you need to locate and remove the screws that hold your interior door handles in place (they may be hidden by snap in, or snap on clips). Once you remove the screws that hold the door handles, remove any wire connectors to the handles, if they're not power you will need a small hook (kinda like a knitting needle) to remove the window crank. A manual window crank is held in place by a clip on the base. Slide the hook behind the base and remove the clip. The door panel itself, is held on by snap in clips, and you will need a small pry bar to pull them from the door (try to get as close to, or directly under the clips to prevent them from tearing out of the door panel). Once the clips are removed from the door, pull the panel upward to remove it from the door.

Install in reverse.

I hope this helps you, and I wish you luck on your repair.

Remove the slide and then move the jet needle clip one notch lower. Try two notches if one doesn't do it.

Red Express read the title he wants to change the needle clip position. Heres how to do it: 1. Loosen the cap from the top of the carb and pull out the slide. 2. Compress the spring and fiddle with the cable untill it pops out 3. Now, there should be a small bolt covering the needle, remove it 4. Pull out the needle and remove the c-clip, adjust to desired position (down to richen, up to lean) 5. Put needle back in and install bolt 6. Install cable 7. install slide and top cap 8.
