Hi, Anonymous you could have a faulty sending unit or gauge, there could be a problem with your wiring. On models with the fuel gauge posing as a left-hand fuel cap the gauge is a press fit do not try to unscrew it, simply ample force lift up in a rocking motion to remove gauge. Disconnect wires to the gauge and with a set of positive and negative jumpers from the battery connect the positive jumper and flash the negative, gauge should peg full, if not replace the gauge. With a test light check for power to the sending unit, then remove the sending unit and manually operate the float arm slowly with the correct wiring hooked up to the fuel gauge and sending unit and the ignition on, the gauge should respond accordingly if not replace the float arm assembly. If your fuel gauge registers the incorrect amount of fuel in the tank you can try bending the float arm the necessary amount for a more accurate reading. For more information about your issue, please visit the websites below. Good luck and have a nice day.

How to check fuel getting to engine

First locate the fuel tank then from there two small fuel lines head towards the front one of them will be connected to fuel injectors which is return pipe leve it as it is. Other one is the main pipe which goes through water seperator, fuel filters, speed pump, automizer pump and then to injectors.
Just remove pipe and blow air to clean, drain water, replace filter if cloged and also clean fuel tank if you find more dust inside the pipes or filters.

There is red light indicator on the dash in the area of the tachometer. The light looks like a box with an arrow pointing down and a fluid leve waving line. What does that idicate.

This is prolly a chevy and that light is just that a low water level indicator it is saying check your cooliant level. Add anti-freeze not water or you may crack your radiator as it gets colder out.

Fuel door on my 1993 toyota camry won't open when I pull the leve

Get someone to help you. Have them pull up on the handle, whilst you pry open the door with a credit card, or something thin and plastic. Pull open the fuel door. Look to see if there is a bent piece of metal above the hinge. This is the "spring" that pops the fuel door open. If it is not there, it has broken, and needs to be replaced. About 3 dollars at a Toyota Dealer.
