The hissing noise is NOT the fuel pump. It is a fuel leak internally in the fuel tank between the fuel pump and the quick release connector on the fuel tank. Harley fuel pumps very rarely fail. I have only seen one in ten years but have seen a lot of failed pressure pipes. These fail due to the fuel pipe rubbing against the inside of the fuel tank and wearing away. It must be replaced by the original fuel pipe ( it is a bellows construction that aids in starting the bike by holding fuel pressure ).

2001 FLSTCI no spark at the plugs.

Hi Bobby, if you have a CKP sensor it needs compression to send correct signal to the ICM/ECM, make sure both spark plugs are in heads and use a grounded third plug to check for spark or hold spark plug cable close to spark plug in head. If still not getting spark the usual suspects are:
1. Fouled spark plugs.
2. Battery voltage below 8.7 volts, loose or broken battery cables especially ground cable to frame.
3. Loose connection at ignition coil or plug between ignition sensor and module.
4. Spark plug cables in bad condition, shorting / leaking, spark plug cable connections loose.
5. Faulty ignition coil or ignition / electronic module
6. Failed CKP, CMP, MAP or BAS sensor.
7. Faulty ignition switch.
8. Security alarm failing to disarm.

Where do i hook up the vacuum for my hyper charger on my 04 flstci i know where on hypercharger but not on engine!!

There should be a vacuum line coming from either the intake or the throttle body going to the VOES switch. Splice into this line.

2002 FLSTCI wont start. Full battery still connected to Harley trickle charger. Will turn over but wont fire. When I turn on the bike on I can hear that fuel sound being shot somewhere but its very weak...

Hi Stevenvaden, when checking for spark the CKP needs to measure the compression bump in order to send the correct signal to the ICM/ECM so always check for spark with either a third plug grounded or lift the end of the plug boot 1/2 " off one of spark plugs that are in the head. and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty
2. Fuel supply valve turned off.
3. Fouled spark plugs.
4. Engine flooded with gasoline as a result of over use of enrichner.
5. Fuel valve or filter clogged.
6. Vacuum hose to automatic fuel supply valve disconnected, leaking, or pinched.
7. Discharged battery, loose or broken battery connections.
8. Loose wire connection at coil, battery or plug between ignition sensor and module.
9. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting, spark plug cable connections loose,
or cables connected to wrong cylinders.
10. Ignition timing incorrect due to faulty ignition coil, ignition module, or sensors " Manifold Absolute Pressure" "Camshaft Position Sensor" "Crank Position Sensor" "Brake Apply Sensor
11. Engine lubricant to heavy ( winter operation )
12. Sticking or damaged valves or push rod wrong length.
13. Primary cam sproket spline sheared or missing spacer.
14. Security alarm system not disarming.
