Kodiak atv 700 wont start, has good spark, gas to carb, worked fine till I parked in garage, thereafter it will not fire a shot although it turns over; any suggestions ?

Try changing the gasoline. It will go bad if it sets for a while. I once bought a motorcycle for $75 because the guy couldn't get it to start. I changed the gas and it started right up.

Bad gas and motorcycles

As you all have noticed lately the gas we are getting with the additives and ethonal and no telling what is in it. the gas is playing havic of motorcycles with the clogged carburators, stuck fuel injectors, locked up fuel pumps, sticking valves so on and so forth.
my tip for all motorcycle riders is that most motorcycles benifit from running hi-test fuel in them. but all fuel is not the same and if you find your bike not running so good on the fuel you are using, change it! go to another station buy gas from different staions untill you find one that your bike runs good on. never park your bike with a empty tank! the more air in your tank the faster the fuel will go bad on you, so always store your bike with a full tank of gas and you will have a better chance of the gas not going bad on you. when you find your self out on the road with no gas staions to chouse from and have to get gas, be aware if you have to get gas from the little hole in the wall mom and pop gas staion in the middle of nowhere DO NOT BUY HI-TEST!! these stations do not sell a lot of hi-test and the fuel in there tanks could be 6 months old or more just waiting for you to pump it on your tank and do damage to your fuel system so buy just enough regular to get you back to a well traveled station that you can fill you tank with good fresh hi-test fuel.

Water in injectors

Yes, I would say you have water in your gas. You will have to drain your tank to get rid of any bad gas. Pull out the pump assemble, disassemble the pump and clean all internal parts and lines and reassemble and reinstall. Then flush out any water/bad gas in your fuel lines to the injectors. Reassemble and put good gas into the tank.

What has been done to it lately? Suspect that first if anything has.
Probably the fuel has gone bad, after sitting all winter, you did put fresh gas into it right? I am guessing water from condensation and the ethanol gas. Don't use any "drygas" it will just put more alcohol in the gas tank which you do not want. You can try a product called "StarTron" too if the fresh gas does not help. Last thing I know is a product available at the motorcycle shop comes in a solid black plastic bottle that will make the water in the gas dissolve back into the gas so it can be burned, but I can not remember the name of it. All the shops up here where I am have it. And it was developed specifically because of the condensation/water problem the ethanol gas causes with motorcycles.
Pick up something called Sea Foam at WalMart and put some it the gas to help clean out the passageways and jets. The new ethanol gas is real bad on scoots.
Hope this helps.

Can Old gas may my motorcycle run rough and not idle?

Old gas will most certainly make the bike act up and idle bad. Drain the tank and refill with fresh gas, if it doesent run better after a few miles you will have to clean the carbs.

Cranks but wont start (this happened suddenly the bike has gas and a new battery and 3k miles)

Has she been sitting up? Motorcycles are very bad for gumming up the fuel system when sitting for even a short time. Gas goes bad and gums up the ports in the system. Also sounds like she may be under warranty.
