Compression lost When egine is hot, especiallu whilevriding in city crowd it looses acceleration. What to do?

It sounds like it is either an Ignition or a coil problem. Try removing the timing cover and ride it around. If it doing that makes your bike run better then you will need to replace the ignition.

100 PSI is way to low, I think you have a burnt valve. Check the cylinder compression on all cylinders, no cylinder should be 5% lower than the highest cylinder pressure measured or the engine will run rough or misfire.

Loose connection or your power cable and earth cable to your amp are not a heavy enough gauge.

Accord starts shuts off


stalls. engine stalls. Stalls only HOT. and fails hot soaked.
stalls have 4 paths ?
1: lost DC power, to EFI (spark and fuel brains) "loose fuse?"
2: lost compression only hot (compression gauge to rescue)
3: lost spark or the classic, never doing 60k mile tuneups.
or the classic EGR stuck open , again not ever cleaned at 60k
4: bad fueling. (too much floods, it and stalls it, or tool lean it dies)
(or stuck closed ISC) we clean it at 60k with the EGR. as part of the 60k service points listed in the missing operators guide. (bet)

in that order, this 4 macro paths to , no stalls.
do you want me to guess which of 50 parts are bad.?
or do the 4 tests. to find which path it is.
one takes a month, other 1hr.

one more test. can you save this stall with a fast right foot?

1999 Kia sportage loosing power under moderate acceleration.


It sounds like a head gasket issue. Do a compression check to see if all cylinders are within specs. If you find there is an issue, decide if it is worth the repair cost. If you choose to repair it you will also want to check for an exhaust leak close to the engine such as flex pipe and also back pressure from a plugged converter. Otherwise you could end up blowing the head gasket again.

My 2009 ktm 250 exc is completely loosing power at operating temperature when accelerating and then will go back to normal after allowing the bike to cool


Hi, it's one of theese two problems:
1 - carburator out of tune
2 - you better not have this one: your piston rings are worn out

check for compression when hot (you can feel ti in the quick start)

When I start or drive my 1999 chevy suburban k1500 it make a loud knocking noise in the egine- so loud that can not drive it no where- I was told by a friend that my egine are loose and to be tighten. how...


if the engine is loose, i would check the motor mounts to see if 1 of them is not broken, if it is , it will have to be replaced, if it is loose, then it can be tightened up. with the appropiate size wrenches. if the knocking sound is coming from the inside of the engine, i would have it checked out soon to see what is causing the knocking. [ interior knocking in a engine is serious. ]

Air Condition


it sounds like a loose compression compressor.

if the compressor is loose compression, normally it sounds noisy. then suction pressure is above normal and if you accelerate and maintains that high speed, let say 2000 rpm, the suction pressure goes down to the normal level and cools your air conditioning .
