have you checked the temp sender , it triggers the fan to come on when it reaches required temp ? either in the rad or the head and looped into the fan wires !
Cut the "foot" the part of the kick stand that touches the ground then cut at least an inch off the kick stand itself. then weld the foot back on. sand it an paint it black.
Be sure that your side stand switch is working properly, by design the bike will shut off when shifted into gear with the side stand down. The switch should be located near the side stand pivot. I hope this helps, let me know if it does not.
You will need basic socket set 10 to22 ml is enough to do most of your serviceing you will also need both philips & flat as well as allen keys.remove the belly pan place a container under the sump plug remove the plug this will allow the oil to drain it is recomended to warm the engine before starting this procedure
