Leak in front fork

This is the damping oil in the fork. Once it is all leaked out you will find it difficult to control the bike on bumpy roads. Get it checked ASAP. Repair is not very complicated since it requires replacement of the fork seals. I would recommend doing both forks at the same time. If one has failed the other is not far behind.

I have a 1994 Honda 750 Magna and the front fork seals are beginning to look dry rotted so I ordered some new ones to replace them with. I can do some mechanic work here and there but never tried replacing...

its not an impossible job, but there are a couple of special tools that make it easier. and a couple of areas to stuff it all up.
A manual would be needed if you havent done it before. The manual takes 4-5 pages of explanation.
A good bike mechanic should do both seals in less than 1 hour, if you remove the forks.
If they arnt leaking oil, they may be OK, The seal that is visible and looks cracked may just be the dust seal, this just pushes into the top of the fork leg above the fork oil seal

2003 vt750dc spirit front fork leaks. what to do?

Don't worry about a little oil on the shock, the seal has gone bad, common problem, usually from a hit on the side pushing it out of round. You need to take them apart, dump the oil in a tray or pan, layout the pieces in order on newspaper or in a big tray, replace the seal, put it all back and pour in a pre-measured amount of fork oil. Be careful pushing the springs back in, Hope this helps.

Fork seal replacement on 82 yamaha 750 seca

On the top and bottom parts of the triple tree either both or one will have bolts. First take the fender off. Take the front tire off. Loosen the bolts on the triple tree. They should slide down. If not you have to get a rubber mallet and tap on the top of the fork and twist the fork as you are doing this. Once it is out, pull the dust seal off the top of the lower fork. There will be a clip inside, take the clip off drain the oil out of the top or bottom depending on how the forks are made. Push the fork tube down into the lower fork slightly, pull both apart with a firm tug and they should separate.

Fork oil capacity for a 1982 Honda 750 Sabre??

I found the answer on Wiki Answers.

It says :

right 360 c.c. SAE 10
left 380 c.c. SAE 10

I wouldn't use sae 10 however, Honda suggests 5w fork oil. Just changed the fork seals on mine.
