I would have it checked out. I know that it has limitors on it but it shouldn't be half throttle. It should rev as soon as you start twisting the trottle.

You should slow down till you you have reach break in distance. but that is not normal, needs more readjustment on its fuel-air intake ratio.

These bikes come jetted so lean that they almost won't run. The closer you get to sea level, the worse the problem is. I have a list of 12 cheap and easy things to make your bike fly. Email me and I'll send you the list. Carb may be either a 28mm or 32mm, and the 28mm is actually a better carb. Also, the bike is super easy to convert to street legal, cost is around $75 which includes front and rear activated brake lights, hi/lo beam headlight, LED tail/stop light, mirror and horn. I have street-legaled 6 of these for myself and friends. pando@verizon.net

14. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
15. Loose or corroded wire connection at the coil or plug between ignition sensor and ECM module.

Burgman 400 2008. At light throttle openings say 1500 rpm. the revs rise and fall by 500 rpm continuously. This fault occurred after replacing the throttle sensor. Jill

Hi, Jill sounds like your new sensor (TPS) is slightly out of adjustment for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Suzuki, despair not, for a mere zero $ you can download another one. Bike won't run past 4k rpm. Has pods and cut off exhaust.

Hi sounds like fuel air mixture problem due to the filter pods, as this type of machine relyes on the corre t intake of air to run correctly. When running whatch the throttle slides as you increase the throttle opening the slide should rise. If by placing your arm at the back of the carbs, if byreducing the air flow alows the engine speed to increase then you will have to rejet to suite

New crf250r breaks down at high revs since new

Thats not normal. You could get a bike off the show room floor and completely skip the break in period and it would run wide open. If your bike wouldn't rev past quarter throttle there is something wrong. With a blackened silencer and a motor that dies at quarter throttle I'd say you've got a problem with your injection system flooding your motor with fuel. I run 3 warm up and cool down rotations and go ride like normal. After 4 tanks of fuel your bike is more than broken in. If you aren't familiar with the injection system take it to the dealer and get someone to look at it. If you bought it new it should be covered as a manufacture defect.

How fast does a Suzuki GSXR 1000 go? 2002 gsxr 1000r started fine loaded it on trailer went to town came back went to unload it and it would not start was running great turns over good lots of fuel no f1...

Most sports bikes are limited to 300km/h by the manufacturers in an effort to be responsible. Actually the ? was about the 1000 not "most sport bikes". The Suzuki gsxr1000 for 2007 is rev limited to 184 mph. U do the math to figure out kph but in the U.S. who cares about the metric numbers.

Try adujsting the rev screw on the side of the carb, dont turn it any more than 1/8 at a time, turn it clockwise to increase revs, and anti-clockwise to decrease them
