Question about 1992 kawasaki GT 750
My Gt550 runs fine when started from cold and tick over stays the same (1500 RPM)but after riding for 15 to 20 min and it gets warm it creeps up to 4000 Rpm at tick over and refuses to drop to 1500 even when changing gear. when at lights i can dip the clutch and force it down to 1500 rpm but it will then go back up to 4000. I turn if off let it cool and the tick over is returns back to 1500 well until it gets hot again. Anyone help ?
Take the throttle cable off the arm at the carb end and try pulling the cable and check 4 stiffness maybe a frayd cable other wise all air screws may not be in sync with each other if tht doesnt work get back 2 me on tht 1
