SOURCE: removing the rear wheel of a Honda VTX 1300s

ok first you got to find the link that takes the chain apart after you do that loosen the bolts that hold the tire on if you cant do that you can use a breaker bar or put a pipe or on the end of you rachet that will give you more leverage. then sloed the tire forword so you can undo the chain and slide tire off

SOURCE: removing baffles in my1300 vtx c honda ?

it is not hard to do but it would be best to get the drag pipes. there are a host of problems to think of though. you will need to rejet the carbs to accomodate the free up in back pressure. you will need the tourque slipins for the pipes. they will fit right into the pipes where they connect at the heads. the 1300 is going to be super loud without the baffels. like getting stopped by the law loud. it would be best to get a tuned drag setup from a dealer as to get the sound you are looking for as well as keep it below jonnie laws radar.

Take off your side covers, take out the two bolts holding the driver seat down, remove the driver seat, remove the battery cover bolt, unbolt the battery cables , and lift the battery up out of the battery box.

I have a 2005 VTX 1800F. Battery is charged, plenty of fuel, starter turns like crazy but it is not even trying to start. Never has done this before. Checked all of my fuses and they are good.

check the spark plugs and if they are black and sooty and or wet replace them and bike should start. this is common with VTX's when they are started a few times and not ridden they will foul the plugs. let me know what you find and if you need more help. Brian

I have a 1800 vtx 2002 c for some reason my brake

The caliper is pushing more pressure to one piston. Try tearing the caliper apart and replacing the seals and cleaning it out. Changing the brake fluid while your at it wouldn't hurt.
