SOURCE: Main fuse blown on CT-32G11 32" Panasonic TV, Replacement fuses continue to blow.

If the main fuse keeps blowing, check the horizontal output transistor for a shorted condition and diodes in that section as well.

SOURCE: bike hasn't been running for months. change of

First of all, when boost starting a bike from a auto make sure the auto is NOT running. The auto battery has more than enough power all by itself.

The most likely is 4) None of the above. The truck's charging system put more than 30 amps into the bike's electrical system and blew the fuse.

Get a new bike battery and fully charge it. Then go from there. If you really want to see if the bike will run before buying a new battery go ahead and hook up the cables to the truck battery and try it with the truck off.

A faulty alternator/regulator/rectifier should have no effect on the bike actually starting or turning over. Only the output of the charging system would be affected, possibly causing the bike to die when the cables are removed. My '78 Honda would not run at all without battery power, not sure if the Kawasaki is the same or not.

There is a direct short circuit in the main power regulator circuit. Never put any more fuse, till the fault has been rectified. It will cause more fault to develop. Contact any experienced service technician.

Replaced the fuse and it immediately blows. My wife cooked several large potatoes got it ral hot before failure

see the steps and eliminate short circuit use the common sense: God bless you
No Lights or Power, Unit seems Dead First check is the main fuse of the unit. On countertop units, you will need to take the shell off. The fuse will be close to where the cord comes through into the unit. OTR units, this main fuse is usually behind the control panel or possibly behind the vent. Usually the fuse is obvious if blown, otherwise test with an OHM meter, if open, replace fuse.
Some brands will also have a thermal cut-off fuse in the incoming voltage line to the control board. Older Maytags and Samsungs have this fuse in it. This thermostat looking fuse is usually above the oven cavity somewhere under the outside shell. Sometimes you can get to it through the vent of OTR models. Test with an OHM meter, replace if open.

However if after replace the fuse the problem remain, you must test: a) power cord for short b) outlet wall for ground improperly c) HV transformer faulty d) Rectifier HV faulty e) Magnetron faulty. d) power supply faulty replace or repair filter diode, resistor. etc Or call some experimented service tech for troubleshooting.

I have a yamaha r-v701 the main 120 volt fuse was blown when replaced it keeps blowing what would be causing the short

If you are blowing the mains fuse, you likely have an issue in the power supply. This can be a bad rectifier or filter capacitor; or, less likely, some other component. The fact that you're asking the question suggests you should not try to fix this yourself.

26av502r - blowing fuses. i disconnected the board from others and still blows fuses. bty, what rating is the fuse?

Hello,
You can do this by yourself all you have to do is to open the back cover of the television to check the faulty components. to fix you must have basic knowledge on electronics .

The fuses are there to protect the set from catching on fire in case there's a short circuit inside the set. Now in some cases an intermittent short can work after you replace the fuse but if its burnt black or brownish, there's a circuit inside the set in one of the circuits. always use a 100 watt light bulb across a blown fuse if your not sure if there is a short. if there is, the light will absorb the short and glow bright. if there is no short the bulb will glow bright , then go down very dim. you could have a main power supply problem, such as shorted bridge rectifiers, shorted main b+ capacitor, Hot could be shorted, or the Vertical or audio output IC could be shorted.

I hope this help in solving the problem.....

Internal fuse on cambridge a1 mk3 has blown and when replaced, blew instantly??

When the fuse blows suspect an overload in either the power supply or Main Amp section.
Check for burnt/damage parts first!
Power Supply faults that will blow the fuse are: Transformer, Rectifier, Voltage Regulator, Large Electrolytic Capictors, Diodes & any other semiconductor connected with it.
Main Power Amp faults are: any semiconductor device on the heatsink.

No power to unit stand by light does not come on. cr2405a-pa

Check to make sure the fuse has not blown inside the plug and whilst its unplugged open up the CD player and see if the Fuse inside has burnt out, that being the case put another one into it of the correct rating as it should say it on the silver ends of the glass tube. If it blows again you got a problem with another component called a Diode or Bridge Rectifier which has become faulty or a faulty mains voltage capacitor ( Big Blue can ) on the power supply.

Hi ,as sugested by the other tech, you need to check if the vents are opening,if you can hear the blower coming on it should be the vents not opening, so cneck for disconected or broken vacum lines ,if the blower dont come one check for blown fuses ,or if the blower motor may have gone bad , also can be the speed control switch .C1.......

Peavey 1200 Amplifier

Some of the outputs transistors is bad hence causing a bridge in circuit, thats why the fuse is blowing.Check all the outputs transistors on both channels, rectifiers and zena diodes these are the possible causes of circuit bridge when they are faulty. The fan works on AC thats why it is not affected even when the fuse is blown. Please if you have anymore challenge please send me a mail on mikewee4wee@yahoo.com
