Question about 2007 Yamaha TDM 900
A part on selector shaft could have broken so it needs stripping down , take side cover off first and see if there is anything there and if not then engine out and strip !

Hi Paul. Your model of TDM is known for this problem. The design of the ignition system is poor and allows moisture to accumulate, leading to loss of spark on one cylinder. The good news is that you can fix it with a little effort. You can find some advice on fixing it here: http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/index.php?page=ISSUES#1_5
This thread on Carpe-TDM may also help: http://www.carpe-tdm.net/ipb/index.php?showtopic=15971
Best of luck. The TDM is a great bike once you have ironed out the niggles.
