Boging i bhave a 91 SL 300 i have replaced both fuel pumps,persure regulater, plate senor, and it idles great but press the pedel it bogs and i let up it's runs great but it keeps boging

Have you tested or replaced the coolant temp sensor?

new spark plugs this decade. (a tune up?0
the filter is part of all 60k tuneups. letting it clog wrecks good pumps.
my wild guess, its lack of fuel flow, do to old filter.
or low fuel pressure.
car is identical to a Corolla. so is not unique or rare as some Geo cars are.
the cam belt not changes, invites valve kissing piston tops. BOOM
end of engine. (costs more to fix then worth of car)
the word is bogging, my engine bogs
if if bogs WOT (wide open throttle) and dont catch up < ITS NOT THE TPS. ever.
tps bad causes short bogs, called hesitations.
The map sensor , is what measure air flow and the ECU matches fuel to this air flow.
my guess, is it does that, but fuel pressure is like 15PSI, bad.

The ECM maybe stuck, disconnect the battery and wait 5 mins then reconnect.

Other things that normal cause high rpm at idle:

• PCV hose to throttle body has a leak
• vacuum line to brake has a leak.
• the throttle plate maybe dirty and is open partly
• the IAC is bad. Which is on the throttle body.
• the throttle plate sensor is bad, just unplug it and see if the rpm goes down. If it does, replace the sensor.
• the egr value maybe stuck
• bad front o2 sensor
• bad coolant senor. You should have this replace since the original sensor where plastic tip and crack. The new ones has a brass tip. the transmission and air( IAT) have the same sensor part.

Two possible issues. One, Your mass airflow sensor could be unplugged, dirty, or malfunctioning. Two, you could have a clogged catalytic converter. There are cleaners you can use, but generally you need to replace the catalytic converters.

You could possibly turn up the idle if it bogs down when idling. If it only bogs down when you press the gas it may be a clogged fuel filter or fuel line. Could also be your fuel pump starting to go if you ride with less than a quarter of a tank of gas most of the time.

Low fuel pressure due to worn fuel pump.

Should illuminate Check Engine lamp due to lean mixture.

for starters boging and backfireing has abousely nothing to do with the fuse box it something in the igntion or fuel sytem

if fuel injected there is a solinoid that opens the air intake s o the truck will run when not pushing on the gas pedel , that is stuck shut.

check fuel pressure possibly too low fuel pump not pumping enough

replace your coils
