How do i locate the door lock relay for a 2004 toyota corolla

According to Don r : "The relays are in the fusebox under the hood. There's a fusebox on the driver's side kick panel, there's another one behind the change drawer on the left end of the dash and there's another fuse and relay box behind a panel on the passenger side below the dash. Chilton's Auto Repair manual will show you these. Look in your owner's Manual too. " According to mtran2988: "So I know this sounds very silly, but I had this problem for a while as well. What I did to fix it for a while, was open the fuse box in the car (under the steering wheel) and remount the fuse for the power lock. After that all the door's locks started working again. Like I said, i know it sounds very silly... but that's what I did and it started working. I feel like trying this might save people some hours. Mind you, I don't have very great technical knowledge of the mechanics of a car.. just a persevering DIY'er." I hope that helps!

I have a 2001 dodge stratus the OBD is not receiving any power from what I can find it appears to be a fuse but I don't know which fuse it is

Depending on your vehicle, you may find it in the fuse box. This could be located in the engine compartment or the kick panel.

Have a 2001 camry & the clock & lighter went out. Sounds like a fuse but I don't know where the fuse block is or what the fuse number is or if the problem is even related. ...

Here's a couple of lifts from the toyota forum:-

1) I think the coin box is the one to the left of the steering wheel. Squeeze the sides after opening it if I remember correctly. Should be others under the hood.

2) It was behind the coin box. I found the fuse for the radio, clock and replaced it and all is well.

Where is the fuse box for 1996 toyota camry? There are several fuse boxes. one is on the lower left side of the stearing wheel (by where you pop the hood) and the other two are under the hood, on the drivers side by the battery.

Most cars have a fuse diagram on the inside of the fuse box cover.

The Low beam headlights don't work when u turn on key like they did. but the High work. any suggestions... I need to find a wiring diagram, but it may be a simple issue or not???

While it may be possible that it's a wiring fault, unless you have done something that you think might have disturbed the wiring, this is pretty unlikely.

It's entirely possible that your low beam bulb has blown. Even if you have 2 bulbs, it's not uncommon that as the bulb faults out, it takes out a fuse as it fails, so you would do well to check the fuse box and see if all your fuses are intact. I'm not familiar with this particular bike, but yamaha fuses are usually in the side pannel on the opposite side to the battery in a rubber housing about 2 inches long and an inch wide. (There is usually a single main fuse near the battery, but if this had gone, it would probably have killed most of the electrics on the bike).

Check fuses (Hopefully, the cover of the fuse box has a list of which fuse does what, but there will only be about 6 fuses, so check all of them. Yamaha also have a lovely habit of listing the fuses in the top of the cover on the fuse box, but just to confuse the issue, the list is upside down in relation to the way the fuses run!). You will also find that there are usually 3 spare fuses in the box that you can swap out for a dead one.

Having checked the fuses, PARTICULARLY if you find a blown one, take out the bulbs before you turn the bike on again and check them too. On occasion, a bulb will short out as it fails, blowing the fuse. You swap the fuse, switch the bike on and the defective bulb takes the fuse out again!
Take each of the bulbs out and put them across a battery or a battery charger to test them.

If all the above doesn't get you anywhere, then, and only then, start looking for a wiring problem.

You will find loads of R6 manuals (With wiring diagrams) for various years here if you do need to investigate further:

When my 2001 r6 gets up to temp, the fuse pops for the fan, i changed the fan and still does it. i tested the thermo switch and thats good. any ideas???

it sounds like the fuse pops when the fan tries to turn on. that makes me think it's got a grounded wire or water in the connector. providing you have the right amperage fuse.
