Skyjet SJ-125-23 Common Problems/Solutions

Neutral light Never showing
  • This could be a simple shipping issue, Which if you look on the left hand side of frame in centre below seat and just under petrol tankthere is a GREEN wire, Which is normally not-connected or dis-lodged when riding, Connect wire back to other green wire near it heading towards gearboxIssue will then be sorted and electric start will now work.
Oil leaking from Left hand crank case near gear shifter
  • This is caused mainly by wear and tear on the gasket for the left crank case, just remove start motor cover carefully without loosing anything, Then Remove old paper gasket replace with new Copper gasket And/or Gasket sealant/maker bought from any HALFORDS shop for about £5
Oil pours out when I remove screw for manual turning of piston on left crank case
  • Unlike normal engines which this part would remain dry at all times, The skyjet engine which is basedof a Old CG-125 push rod engine, Oil pouring into that side and out the screw when un-screwed is commonso don't worry about anything breaking, However its recommended to empty oil from the main oil empting screwunder engine which is a 17MM Bolt and draining fully before removing any of engine casings.
Where can i buy the cheap parts for Skyjet Motorbike
  • However due to skyjet is no longer listed, Buyers must look for the kasiar parts they are exactly the same, However may be colour differences for some engine parts but the difference is instead of normal black parts which sky-jet engine has there Silver instead

Oil filter change

the amount of oil to refill the sump will be the regular amount plus 1/2 pint for the new filter. You will need to know the sump capacity ( from a owners hand book for your engine)

Re: 1996 jeep cherokee need fluid capacities air filer # oil filter #

Anywhere you buy those parts, they will have a book that lists those numbers (some vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. You will need to tell them the year and engine size though or they can't help you. Off hand, most 6cyl 4.0 engines use 6quarts of oil and filter is usually a #16.(for oil). You can also buy an inexpensive manual like chilton or haynes that will list lots of things you may need to know.

Could you please explain exactly how to change the oil on a Skyjet F5 Sport 125 (2008) motorcycle and also tell which oil to use and how much to put in the oil tank. When the bike is on its sidestand, I...

BOth sides of crank case gets oil in em its normal for the skyjet engine
To change oil Locate the 17MM bolt under the engine near the front of engine, Unscrew and Let the oil drain for about 1 hour
Then Put bolt back and tighten properly, Then Add approx 1.6L of 4 stroke Motorbike oil

Since most all engines depend on gravity to return the circulating oil to the pan, it is the lowest part on the engine. It may look different from car to car but it will always be at the bottom. Some are formed sheet steel, others cast aluminum with some shallow fins to help cool the oil. You do not need to remove the pan for an oil change. Look for a fairly large hexagonal bolt or a larger 'Allen' type screw with a hexagonal hole for a wrench on this part.
You should have the engine warm before changing the oil since it will drain better with the oil somewhat thinner. You will need a larger basin of some kind with a capacity of ~2 gallons (~ 8L) to catch the oil. Please don't let it drain onto the ground, the stuff sticks around for a generation or two. Let it drain until it produces nothing more than slow drops. BTW, you should definitely change the oil filter too; this normally sticks out the side of the lower section of the engine and is a cylindrical can that may be way too tight to remove by hand. Once you locate it, you should buy a filter wrench for removal. This should not be used for the installation of the new one! The new one should have a film of the new oil applied to the rubber seal and then only screwed on 'hand-tight.'

Fork and engine oil for kawasaki kle 400 from 1993

Get the fork oil from the Kawasaki dealer and he will give you the right oil and tell you how much is needed. The gearbox oil is 10w40, any major brand is fine. I think your bike has a oil dipstick? If not then the oil capacity should be on the casing by the oil fill. Worst case, ask the dealer while you are there!
Best wishes and I hope this helps.

Please rate this solution. Thanks Robert!

Front fork oil capacity

Hi Lukepentcof.

its 350cc or 11.8 ounces in the Clyma book, but that's for a 1986 onwards model. you can vary the amount you use to suit your style of riding anyways. I doubt it would be that far from the mark.
