No power to head light - FXDL Dyna Low Rider Harley Davidson Motorcycles

Did you test for power or is it that the head light is not working? I would trace the wiring from the right to the left starting at the right head light. Also if you left head light is not coming on and you find you have power to the light, check that the light socket or plug is clean and check the ground wire for that light! If you find the wire running to the light is not getting power you will need to check the wire itself and the point where it connects to the right head light, normally at the back of the light socket.

.First check fuses in fuse box inside vehicle,if good then,Go to head light with meter,remove connector,turn lights on and see if you have power,do both,if no power then maybe switch.Here's the switch.

Set a step ladder under the power head of the garage door opener so you can reach the power cord and the lens cover safely.
Climb the ladder and pull the power cord from the outlet in the ceiling. Press the two lens tabs in to disengage the lens from the power head. The lens tabs are below the opener rail on the upper corners of the lens. Pull the lens cover straight off of the power head.
Unscrew the light bulb from the light socket. Use a new 60 watt bulb to replace the defective bulb. Do not use a short neck bulb. Screw the new bulb into the light socket just as you would a regular lamp socket.
Slide the lens cover back over the front of the power head. Push the lens cover in until the locking tabs engage the top corners of the lens cover.
Plug the Genie garage door opener power cord back into the ceiling electrical outlet.

According to the wiring diagram, the left and right low beams are connected to the same wire which is
vt/or. Check for power on this wire. Also check for a good ground on the black wire.

You can print the print head using the Control Panel buttons;
1. Make sure that the power light is on and that the error light is off. 2. Hold down the maintenance button for three seconds. The printer starts cleaning the print head and the power light begins flashing. Important - Never turn off the printer while the power light is flashing. Doing so may damage the printer. 3. When the power light stops flashing, print a nozzle check pattern to confirm that the head is clean.

Follow the steps below to clean the print head using the Head Cleaning utility.
Make sure that the printer is turned on and the ink out light is off. Access the printer software. Click the Maintenance tab, then click the Head Cleaning button. Follow the on-screen instructions. The power light flashes while the printer performs the cleaning cycle. Never turn off the printer while the power light is flashing. Doing so may damage the printer. When the power light stops flashing, load a few sheets of paper and click Print Nozzle Check Pattern in the Head Cleaning dialog box to confirm that the print head is clean.

As long as you do not use the powerpack with only one head plugged into it you should be fine. When you plug in a head to the novatron the power pack power is divide between the heads. so 1500 WS divided by three heads is 500WS per head. Only if you find they are contributing to the expose by giving you a warm or amber cast to the backgrounds especially or on the subject.

Pull the head cover off to check the belt, if the belt is ok then it might be the power connection between the handle and the power head shaft. If the red light is on the power head, then its not the connection
because its getting power. Now some heads have a reset button on them,you could check this also.
With the cover off the power head, remove the belt, now turn it on, and be careful, but try to make the motor shaft spin,with one finger, because if it does start to spin you do not want to hurt your finger.

If the motor starts to spin,put the belt back on, if it does not spin again, the motor is too weak.
If it does not spin at all, the motor is bad.Hope this helps you,and you get it working.

Do you have power at the headlight bulb connection?If you do then it leaves only two choices bad contact between the bulb and head light lense(poor earth)or blown bulb.If you have no power you will have to back track to where the power has stopped flowing.Could be a relay,pull headlight relay out and put back in as a poor contact can sometimes stop head lights working.Let me know how you go and wether you need any other advice with tracing the fault
