4. Air fuel mixture adjusted too lean start with 2 full turns.
5. Intake system air leak.
6. Fast idle choke ramp is not releasing.
7. Broken throttle return spring.
8. Damaged diaphragm or slide.
9. Faulty MAP, TPS, ATS, O2, sensors or wiring/connector

FUEL MIXTURE SCREWS BEEN ADJUSTED IMPROPERLY. WHAT IS PROPER HIGH -LOW CARB SETTINGS FOR 40CC POULAN CHAIN SAW

Make sure the air cleaner is not plugged. Turn both jet screws CW to stops (lightly), then back each out 1-1/2 turns CCW. This is a basic setting and should allow the engine to start and run. When the engine is warmed up, pull the throttle full on and adjust H jet needle CW until the engine starts to speed up, but still 4-stroking. Correct adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes running free, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Release the throttle and allow to idle. Turn the L jet needle CW until the engine idles fairly well, but the engine should 'follow the throttle'. It will tend to 'gasp' when pulling the throttle if you have gone too far. Idle speed screw should be set so that the chain doesn't try to turn, but the engine continues to idle. Hope this helps!

I need to know all screw adjustments for carb the T L and H settings.

Make sure the fuel filter, air filter, and muffler are not plugged. Check the fuel lines for decay or other damage. Make sure the carburetor fasteners are tight. Turn both jet screws CW to stops (lightly), then back out each 1-1/2 turns CCW. This is a basic setting and should allow the engine to start and run. Start it and allow to warm up, then pull the throttle full on and turn the H jet screw CW until the engine starts to speed up, but continues to 4-stroke. Correct adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes unloaded, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Release the throttle and adjust L needle CW for better idle, yet allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Adjust idle speed screw so that the chain stops turning, but the engine continues to run.. Hope this helps!

How many turns out is the High and Low screws suppose to be adjusted. Also how many turns out is the larger idle screw suppose to be.

Turn both jet screws CW to stops (lightly), then back out CCW 1-1/2 turns each. This is a basic setting which should allow the engine to start and run. Before adjusting anything, check the fuel filter, air filter and muffler for plugging. Start the engine and allow to warm up. Pull the throttle full on and adjust H needle CW until the engine begins to speed up, but still 4-stroking. Correct adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes running free, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Release the throttle and adjust L needle CW for better idle, yet allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Adjust idle speed so that the chain stops turning, but the engine continues to idle. Hope this helps!

Carby tune up air/fuel mixture screws how many turns in/out Idle screw turns in/out

Make sure the fuel filter, air cleaner, and muffler are not clogged. Turn both jet screws CW to stops (lightly), then back out 1-1/2 turns CCW each. This is a basic setting which should allow the engine to start and run. Allow the engine to warm up, then pull the throttle full on--it should be 4-stroking. Turn the H screw CW until the engine speeds up somewhat, but still 4-stroking. Proper setting is 4-stroking unloaded, but immediate 2-stroking when cutting. Release the throttle and adjust L CW until the engine runs fairly smoothly, yet allows the engine to 'follow-the-throttle'. Set idle speed screw so that the chain stops turning, but the engine continues to run. Hope this helps!

Adjusting the idle jets on a homelite super 2

'L' is the idle jet screw and 'H' is the full throttle screw. Make sure the air cleaner is not clogged. Turn both screws CW to stops (lightly), then back out CCW 1-1/2 turns each. Start the engine and allow to warm up, then pull the throttle full on. Turn H CW until the engine starts to speed up, but still 4 stroking. Proper adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes unloaded, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Release the throttle and adjust L CW for fairly smooth running, yet allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Adjust idle speed screw so that the chain stops turning, but the engine keeps running. Hope this helps!

Hard to start, and wont idle long.

Check the air cleaner and muffler for plugging first. Turn both jet needles CW to stops (lightly), then back out each CCW 1-1/2 turns. Turn the idle speed screw CW about 1/2 turn. This is a basic setting and the engine should start and run. Allow to warm up, then pull the throttle full on and adjust the H needle CW til the engine speeds up somewhat, but is still 4-stroking. Correct setting is when the engine 4-strokes, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Release the throttle and allow to idle. Turn the L needle CW until the engine runs fairly well, but still allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Adjust idle speed screw so that the chain stops moving, but still allows the engine to keep running. Hope this helps!

My poulan wild thing 2375 bogs out when throttle

Make sure that the air cleaner and muffler are not plugged. Check the carburetor screws and nuts for tightness. After turning both needles CW to stops (lightly), back them out CCW 1-1/2 turns each. Start the engine and allow to warm up. Open the throttle and adjust the H needle CW somewhat until the engine speeds up, but is 4-stroking. Correct adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Release the throttle and adjust L CW till the engine runs fairly smoothly, but allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Set the idle speed screw so that the chain doesn't turn, but the engine keeps running. Hope this helps!

Tune a ryobi two stroke motor

Turn Both Air Mixture Screws In Until Seated. **DO NOT JAM SNUG ONLY** Turn Both Screws Out 1 1/2 Turns. Set the Throttle to Full Open and Start the Engine. Override the Throttle by Pushing the Governor Arm by Hand and Turn the High Air Mixture Screw(bottom of the bowl) In Until the Engine is Revving Properly. Now Slow Engine to Idle. Set the Low Air Mixture Screw so there is No Hesitation when Throttling from Idle to Full Throttle. Now Set the Idle if Required.
