My solara 2000 runs beautiful, I just wonder: is it normal that idle, after is warm up at 800-850 rpm? and the temperature gauge drops, incold weather, specially down hills, a around 1/4 of the clock

Idle is too fast. Should be about 500rpm to 550rpm.

Yes, the temperature drops when the thermostat opens, and in cold weather the car struggles to keep the temperature up, so it will be marginally lower. Going down hills should make no difference, so when the vehicle is cold, remove the radiator cap and check the coolant level. Then top up the reservoir. Use antifreeze not water.

A quarter of the clock is fine.

My jeep wont start in cold weather even when it is plugged in. turns over but wnt fire. starts good when the weather warms up. replaced distributor. new battery. new coil.

Sounds like you need to have your ecu repaired. I've seen this problem on 91-98 Grand Cherokees due to components inside the ecu slowly failing, and really acting up when the weather is colder. A good indicator as to if you have this problem is if your check engine light takes a while to light up, on the dash, when you turn the ignition on, before trying to crank the engine. If the light is delayed in your jeep, you need to repair the ecu.

2001 dodge durango, when the weather is real cold

have the ECT checked,
Engine coolant temperature, lets the computer know whether it should push more fuel thru for cold mornings ,
the sensor could be telling the computer that your engine temp is 75 degrees, means less fuel being pushed

Car wont start in cold weather...think it may be

Will it start with a boost? Have you had battery fully charged and load tested? Battery tested at a garage, or autoparts stores, are usually free.

Ford thunderbird wont start in Cold weather

change distributor cap first and see how it goes could have a crack in it.Failing which you need to test the ignition module when its cold as sometimes a component will break down and not work when its cold ,this is very much a hands on type job so if dist cap doesnt cure it call a mobile mechanic
