Hi, Carl after careful deliberation 4 out 5 Honda Gods give this one a thumbs up, but just to be on the safe side you should give your local dealer's parts/service department a call to confirm.

I just went and bought new bearings for the front end, because their was a little play. the old ones were good,i bought bike used, and was wondering if their is supposed to be a spacer between triple...

I'm not sure what you mean by spacer but there is no spacer in there. The steering stem of the lower triple tree has the bearing on it. There is a thin dust shield that goes between the bearing and the triple tree. With the races installed in the frame, just slide the steering stem up into the frame and install the top bearing, dust shield, and retainer. Then the upper tree goes on.

How to rebuild motorcycle shock

Rebuilding any motorcycle shock (front forks only) is reasonable simple. The things you should remember is to keep things clean when reassembling.
First before removing the shock from the triple tree, loosen the top bolt in the shock. Then remove the shock from the triple tree, remove the top bolt and drain the fluid into a container which has measurements on the side. This is done so you can approximate how much fluid to put back in (if you do not have the specs on fluid levels). Next, there is a screw in the bottom of the shock. Remove this screw and the inner tube will come out of the fork lower. Clean all parts, replace the seal on the slider tube with a new seal and reassemble in the reverse order. Make sure after the shock is remounted in the triple tree to tighten the top bolt.

How to take off front forks to rebuild . any special tools needed.. any handy tips? thanks

Relatively straight forward. Pull the brake caliper and tire off, turn signals if fork mounted, and loosen the clamps on the triple trees. Twist them a little for easier removal
