Question about 2008 kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic
Wont charge dies when you take leads of battery.
Sounds like your battery is dead and will no longer hold a charge. Take it a local auto parts store where they can test it.

In order to make sure that your battery won't die on you, make sure to fully charge it every time. One of the mistakes people make is only partly charging the battery at a time, which leads to battery failures in the long run.
