Starter works fine, battery is new and charged. The switch is also new.

Conditon: If I sit on the bike it won't start sometimes(no engagement of the relay) and if I stand the bike up or get off the bike it will start.

    Wiring, under the seat; possibly?

I looked under the seat for any rubbing or looseness and everything is good.

It only happens after having run the bike long enough to get it warm.

where is the neutral switch located?

Everything else you listed has been checked over and found nothing,

because the bike is older, there may be a possiblity of a sluggish spring return postion switch.

The nuetral switch is under the cover on the side where the shifter is located, it is a rotory switch

I suspect the starter motor carbon brushes are worn and/or the starter motor housing has excessive build-up of carb powder. Another common cause is starter clutch wear.

    Get the following checked.

tarter lockout or neutral switch trouble
    Starter motor trouble
    Battery voltage low
    Relays not contacting or operating
    Starter button not contacting
    Wiring open or shorted
    Ignition switch trouble
    Engine stop switch trouble
    Fuse blown

    Thanks

My bike runs, idles cuts at 40% if opened any further dies and does not recover unless closed, what is the problem?

Common idleing is corrected by points on many blades. Clean the points and reset distributor and timing. Check loose covers for water seapage and seal when recommended by the mnfctr.

Engine starts and idles but has a loud slapping noise. No smoking from exhaust has good oil pressure any help or suggestions what it might be and approximate cost of repair. Thanks

Hi Mike:
What kind of bike and how old? Vintage Harleys sound like that most of the time. Just kidding all you Harley guys & gals!
Mike, can you tell where the sound is coming from, and most important, what happened immediately before this noise started?
If it was from the engine, I would not run it until I had it figured out.

I have a 95 CBR600f3 that won't start while the kickstand is down. Is this normal or is there a sensor that may have gone out?

Thgis is normal ... it is a safety interlock. Put the side stand in the storage position before you start and you will be just fine.

Lent my 2011 triumph daytona 675r to a friend and he ran the bike out of fuel and now the bike won't start. The bike will turn over fine and sometimes even sputter but won't accually fire up....

it sounds like some dirt has got into the injectors. these will need to be cleaned out. if you can keep trying it and give it some high revs this may run it through. hope this helps.

Electrical, motorcycle, slap side to make starter work

Sounds like a loose wire in the battery box somewhere. Or even under the seat is where the wires run after leaving the battery box.

Constantly runs but does not heat

The circuit board is faulty. It should be covered under the warranty. Call GE or the place of purchase.
