Hi, Anonymous if you were running with no oil I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. For more information about your issue and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the blue links below. Good luck and have a wonderful day.

My kx450f hasnt been started in 2 months and now it wont kick over. is it the carb?

Your bike has a computerized ignition module or AC-CDI. I suspect the storage of you bike may have allowed the battery to discharge below the minimum voltage required for the ignition module to function. Charge the battery and also drain a small amount of gas from the bottom of the carb(s). Note whether there is free flow of gas from the tank to refill the carb bowl(s).

Fill to the site glass. Anywhere from middle of the glass to just below the top of the glass. The engineers put the glass there for a reason. Typographic errors do come to light at times.

Top rating on the answer! Thanks. :)
