10w40 motor oil in the gearbox. If the engine is a two stroke, mix the gas and oil at 32 to 1 ratio. This equals 4 ounces of two stroke engine oil per gallon of gas. DO NOT use motor oil in the gas.

Weed eater 22" mower with

Hi stnstomper...

Look under the mower for a square plug or allen wrench type plug, this will be your oil drain for the motor.
Some of Briggs & Stratton motors do not have an oil drain plug...
If you do not have an oil drain plug then you will have to run the mower to get it warm, then remove the oil fill plug and tip the mower towards the oil fill plug to drain out the oil thru the fill plug hole.

I just bought a used Craftsman air compressor at a garage sale...100PSI, twin cylinder, 1HP motor. Model # 106.154440. Runs fine, but wondered how to check the oil level in the compressor case and if it...

I have a Sears 106.154581 most likely like yours. You will find a small plug (fill hole) and slightly larger plug on side of pump close to bottom (drain hole). Fill compressor with compressor oil to top thread of fill hole. Oil should look rather clear with very little odor. Compressor oil is available at Lowes for about $3. Good luck

I need to know how to fill my transmission fuild since there is no dipstick. where do i fill it at. and how easy is it??

it is not easy most have a drain plug in trans pan if you look it has a little plug in middle of the drain plug start vehicle while vehicle is running remove small plug if trans fluid dribbles out your okay if no fluid is present with small plug removed then the proper type fluid must be pumped thru little hole until it runs out remember this is done while engine is running

I have a toyota carina e P reg. I need to drain

well there should be a drain plug might look a little flat on the bottom side of the tranny, thats were you drain the trans, to refill there should be a plug on the side of the tranny, your going to have to get creative on filling the trans until the oil starts to slowly trickle out . if you can get to the shifter and pull the shifter out and fill this spot

Maintenance

remove the drain and fill plugs
inspect o-rings for tears
after fluid is drained, reinstall drain plug and tighten to 14-20 lbs
fill tranny with Harely Trans fluid - 20-24 OZ until dipstick shows full with bike upright.

The filler plug is tightened to finger tight

Sticky manual transmission

There are 2 plugs on the tranny. Lower drain plug, and upper fill plug. Fluid is inserted thru the upper plug (after taking it out) until it starts coming out.
