SOURCE: suzuki m50 shift gears.

You may not have a problem at all!
There is a sensor on your kickstand! You can start the bike while its in neutral and have the kickstand down, but if its in a gear with the kickstand down, the bike will automatically turn off. Also, if the bike is in gear with the kickstand down, you will not be able to start it. This is a safety precaution.

Did you have the front wheel off recently?
The speedometer sensor is easily broken and a common occurrence when the wheel is removed and replaced.
The symptoms are erratic or non-working speedo.

93 toyota pickup 4x4 it will stay running after I turn it on to start it up, it starts up then after a few seconds it kills

if I'm reading this right...
... the engine starts and dies within a few seconds.
... you jumpered the fuel pump test connector and it will keep running.
... you smell fuel after trying to re-start when it dies.

Disconnect the plug to the cold start injector. Even if you have an issue with the engine running then dying after a few seconds after doing this, if you don't smell fuel after disconnecting the cold start injector and try to restart it, the cold start time injector time switch may be failing.

Buy a can of starting fluid and have someone start the engine then spray short bursts of the fluid around all the intake fittings. If spraying the fluid in any particular area keeps the engine running, I'd start looking for leaks around that area.

It does sound like an AFM or COR issue considering it dies after a few seconds, but the fuel smell when trying to restart the engine may be a separate issue that needs corrected / isolated first.it will keep running.

Change the display setting to the clock and then hold down both buttons on the console until the clock starts flashing, maybe 5 seconds. Then you can use the adjust and set buttons to fix the time.

2005 boulevard m50 wont start. New battery, checked and is good. Started fine before last battery died and I tried to jump it off. Ideas?

When jump starting a motorcycle, make sure the other vehicle is OFF (not running).
Check your fuses...you most likely blew one during the jump start process.

06 m50 sat for approx 6 months charged the battery won't start.

from your description, i would sugest you make sure fuel is getting to the injector unit, remove the fuel supply hose.if you have spark at the plugs and fuel getting to the injectors you have isolated the problem. i would also drain the old fuel when you take the hose off and fill the tank with high grade fuel. bikes dont like old gas.
