The radiator cap is under the fuel tank. You will have to unbolt it an move it back for access. Top off the coolant while the engine is running. The expansion tank fill is behind the side cover.

Flashing red light mean

A flashing red temperature indicator means your fluid level is low. The 99 beetle takes VW-specific antifreeze; do NOT buy standard green antifreeze for it! Fluid should be added to the round overflow bottle located on the passenger side corner of the engine compartment. Fill the container to the MAX line indicated on the bottle. I use Pentosin Pentofrost SF in mine, available at O'Reilly Auto Parts. As with most antifreeze products, mix it 1:1 with water before adding.

Cars do not normally "use" antifreeze, so if you keep having to add antifreeze, you should check for leaks. Heater hoses or radiator hoses are the most common places for leaks to occur, but the plastic thermostat housing is susceptible to cracking, so check that as well. Otherwise, you could be looking at a leaking radiator or heater core. Worst case scenario would be a leaking head gasket allowing fluid to escape into the cylinders, but that should be suspected only after everything else has been checked. The only other place you would ever see a fluid leak would be a bad freeze plug on the block, but those are very uncommon.

Put new radiator in car, have no heat and car runs hot, still over heatin but fluid level up also battery died to what can I do to solve this headache please help

Common headache ,refill reserve tank and leave cap off ,then restart vehicle with the heat on high and wait until fans come on. You probably just have air in the system which isn't allowing thermostat to open up. Once fans come on you should see coolant level lower and just add additional antifreeze then close cap it shouldn't over heat anymore

Ford focus 2003 temperature gauge jumps to red

Check the operation of your thermostat.
Check that the radiator is filled with fluid and that there are no bubbles in the system (this should only be as a result of a radiator re-fill).
Check that the radiator fan comes on as the gauge needle moves over half way and into the red.

Mitsubishi Pajero (Montero) 2005 transmission light. After driving for approximately 20 km (~12.5 miles) at a steady speed of 120 km/h (~65 miles/hour) the red light of the transmission starts flashing. ...

Could be either or, or it could be neither. Is the "red light" a transmission temperature warning light? If so, the fluid is over heating and the heat sensor is turning the light on...Check fluid level and the condition of your fluid...if it's off colored and smells burnt, you better have it flushed, refilled and a new filter installed. Heat will kill a transmission faster than anything.
Check the transmission cooler, most montero's had a cooler installed on the front of the vehicle by the radiator...the cooling fins need to be clean, no bugs or debris so air flows through it. Have your vehicle scanned also, if you had a transmission code the computers memory will probably still have it stored, this will be helpful with further diagnosis.

I have a 2005 equinox and had to replace the radiator. Some Transmission fluid leaked out and I would like to "top off" the fluid. Do I have to remove the battery casing to get acces to the top...

No, you add fluid in the same hole the check stick is located. Remove teh dip stick and put funnel in teh hole and add fluid in the same location. if that is a manual transmission you will ahve to locate teh check hole on the side of the transmission, normally passenger side or rear of teh transmission and add fluid at that location. Since the lines connected to your radiator I assume you have an automatic since manual transmissions normally do not.

Pull the lowest radiator hose off drain system.
Flush with hose
Re connect radiator hose and tighten clamp
Add new fluid
Run with cap OFF until at operating temperature
Top up fluid as air bubbles release
Add radiator cap
Job done
Takes about 30mins

2002 Dodge Stratus - I want to add water and antifreeze but when I try to turn the radiator cap, it turns but wont come off. Were do I add fluid?

The correct place to add engine coolant is the radiator's expansion tank. It should be a large tank under the hood with a cap that says "Coolant". The tanks will also have an Add and FULL level. Fill this tank when the engine has cooled to the FULL level. As for the radiator cap, it should come off when pressed down with hand pressure and at the same time turned in a counter clockwise rotation. DO NOT open the radiator cap when the engine is hot or at operating temperatures.

Red light flashing that looks like music note in water... HELP

check your anitfreeze level. Is your heat guage high or close to the red line? Also have you checked your oil? To check antifreeze, remove cab when car is COLD make sure the coolant level is up to the top of the radiator. To check oil find the oil dipstick. (probably yellow) wipe clean once, reinstert fully, pull out again. check to make sure it is surely above the ADD mark. If it is at this mark, add 1 quart of oil.
If antifreeze is low, buy a jug of 50/50 antifreeze and get a funel and pour until radiator is full. Slowly pully it in little bits at a time, than slowly squueze and release raidator hose to burb the air bubbles out of the radiator hose.

If your temp guage is going up, than your came may need antifreeze. If it has fluid, than you may need to have thermostat replaced.
