Iv'e seen this before and the solution was to clean the throttle cables. Dissassemble at the throttle grip and spray
WD-40 down the cables. Cable adjustment should leave 1/16" play (worst case) when handlebars are turned full right or left. Also clean where twist grip rides on handlebar.

Unlikely to be compression loss. It's more likely to be a sticky throttle cable or air leaks. Check your throttle cable and make sure that's running smoothly.

Check the quality of the fuel. If the fuel quality is good you may need to clean the carbs.

My cr125 wont idel after stating can it be ajusted.

there is a little screw at the back of your carb next to your air box. kick your bike over and keep little revs on screw it clockwise (in) then start so slowly screw it anticlockwise (out) till your bike starts to rev a bit mor then release your throttle and it should tik over.

Bike has 70,000 miles with power commander true duals and high flow air filter. The bike will not idle and will die if its under 1100 rpms. Runs good as long as throttle is turned.

With the power commander on it you will need to hook up a laptop with the program for your bike and what mods it has and set the throttle posistion from idel to wide open throttle.

2001 Suzuki GSXR 1000 has a slight miss fire,also won't turn over

On the starting issue alone. It sounds very much like a loose ground connection at the battery or starter perhaps. Sounds crazy but, check you negative connection at the batttery and at the starter. This could explain why it is not a constant issue...yet. Hope this helps, and please post your solution when completed. Thanks,

My 2003 yz250 runs full throttle as soon as it is started. Checked the obvious stuff - carb throttle....it started revving out of control intermitantly now its full time. Any ideas?

3 things... First twist the throttle rapidly and listen for the carb slide to move up and down,, ya should hear a clicking in the carb... if so slide ok.. Sure bout the throttle cable ? At grip ? When starting the bike takes alot of kicks to get started ? As if were flooded ?
