SOURCE: My Kawasaki Z 750 (2005) won't start. Starter

If the Tach is showing some RPMs then it must be turning the motor over, if the bike is just coming out of storage it may be gummed up in the fuel system. try turning the fuel petcock off and then on a couple of times. try to start the bike. Failing that, you may have to drain the fuel and replace it with new fuel.
if neither of these work you may have to consult a local mechanic for a spark test and fuel test.

SOURCE: kawasaki z750 abs. Vacuum (pression) in fuel tank

If you're building up vacuum or pressure in the fuel tank, your vent line is pinched or plugged. It is a rubber hose that comes off the fuel tank, usually runs down the right side and discharges vented air out the bottom somewhere.

2005 gran am Pontiac 3.4 v6 the car is idling on 5000 rpm I replaced the throttle housing gasket and throttle positioning sensor still nothing idling at 5000rpm still does anybody have and suggestions...

500 RPM or 5000? Reason I ask is the rev limiter shouldn't let it rev over 3500 in park or neutral? If idling at 500 then get an external tachometer and connect it to determine that your gauge isn't faulty! if at 5000 RPM it could be a stuck tps or possibly debris in the throttle body or a vacuum leak causing the idle to increase? Is it idling high or low compared to before it became faulty?

KLR 250 wont rev

hi ,
your timing is out and needs to be checked and re-adjusted .
If the bike gets hot very fast and lacks of pwer its only due to timing.

The motorcycles rpms rev up between switching gears. What could be the problem?

Could it be that you are not letting off the throttle when you shift? If it doesnt rev up at idle by itself there would be no reason for it to rev up between gears.

Brake new engine

Keep the revs below 5000RPM for the first 500 miles,
don't stay at the same RPM for extended periods, its best to have the engine work at different revs so do "unnecessary" gear changes when on long straights, don't use full throttle acceleration for 500 miles and maybe change the oil at 250 AND 500 miles for the absolute perfect run in, you can also change the oil filter at 250 and 500 since the engine will be kicking out a lot of metal during the run in and the less metal the smoother the bearings and cylinders will be throughout the life of the engine.
